Cycad germination - Help!

I've ordered some Cycad seed: Cycas multipinnata, panzhihuaensis and debaoensis.

I was quite relaxed about it until I started to read about 'embryo immaturity'.

As I understand it, when the seed is shed it isn't yet 'mature'. 

What do I need to do about this?

Do I just sow them and expect a long wait for germination, or do they need a dry 'rest' to mature before they are planted?  If so, cool or warm?

I haven't grown Cycads from seed for years, and I don't remember what I did before. 

Any advice gratefully received.

Hi Chad,

I have germinated Cycas panzhihuaensis a few times. I soak the seeds for 24 hours as soon as received then sow them in deep seed compost pots on the side, half buried, and then almost covered in vermiculite to keep the warmth and moisture. Keep them moist and as warm as you can (25deg+). For me they germinated nicely and quite quickly, under a month if my memory serves me well.

I have put them in to soak.

I'm going to have to do something to heat some pots, 25C is going to be a challenge.
