Some sad news
One of our forum members David Feix has just died, he was a recent member on here but long time contributor on GOTE and was very kind to Liz and I when we met him back in 2009.

Re: Some sad news
That’s so sad and uncanny as I was going to rekindle one of his posts just yesterday to ask how he was getting on but didn’t want to appear prying. Will really miss his wonderful and knowledgeable posts which brought a touch of sunshine particularly on the damp, dark, wet and cold days we get over here. Rest in peace David.

Sad indeed. I read on his FB page that he was hoping to make it home tomorrow, rather than to die in hospital, but I guess events overtook him. RIP David.

How very sad. I was wondering why he had gone quiet the last few months.

Re: Some sad news
One of the more memorable folks on the forums over the years, with so much hands-on experience in horticulture.
You will be missed David!

Re: Some sad news
Sadly another loss. I have been on the forum circuits for about 30 years and over that period so many members, many who belonged to them all, have passed. There are also currently a number who have been around for years, really knowledgeable contributors, are still alive, are unwell, downsized their gardens etc and no longer post.

So sorry to hear of David's loss. I didn't know him but his landscape design was stunning. Truly an artist. RIP.
