ficus timlada outdoors in milder parts of uk?

Post by epiphyte »

recently on youtube i "discovered" a new species... it's closely related to ficus auriculata, but based on timlada's distribution in the himalayas, it should be considerably more cold and drought tolerant. yay or nay for timlada growing outdoors in the milder parts of the uk?

Edit I have removed the link in the post - admin

It's more do they have warm enough summers. I have Ficus auriculata here and in our mild Med summers it's a fast grower in a barrel like container.
