Arrived this morning.Ageratum corymbosum,Ageratum petiolata,Sinningia tubiflora,Felicia petiolata,Begonia sutherlandii,and Begonia grandis Herons pirouette.None are particularly scarce i know but i do like summer pots!.

I bought an Ageratum corymbosum (supposedly) last summer and have overwintered cuttings in plugs but i now think that its A petiolata so i bought A corymbosum and A petiolatum from a different source to compare.

Ageratum corymbosum is a lovely thing, but didn't survive The Beast From The East here or it did and Bartlettina sordida didn't. I needed them side by side to tell them apart!

I have Sinningia tubiflora but haven't been able to get it to flower again after its first year. Does anyone have a trick for that?

I've got germination on a few things.

Sadly [as always] the first up have been either 'free gifts' or things I ordered to 'make an order worth while'.

The 'stars' have yet to germinate, and I like this positive thread where I will only mention the successes!

I have;
Iochroma australis [or chose another genus for it at your pleasure].
Iochroma australis white.
Fuchsia microphylla subsp. hidalgensis
Scrophularia calliantha
Impatiens mishmiensis
Passiflora umbilicata [Why?]
Cestrum elegans 'Smithii' [again Why?]

Excellent Chad.Yes lets include what we have in and coming out of prop as well as deliveries and swaps.Does not have to be a new plant."Incoming" in a broad sense?.
I had better add that i am a semi retired grower and still nave access to some space in the nursery propagator .Hope this is ok. :D

The seed was a 'free gift' so I hadn't looked in to it...

Umm..

OK.

RHS has it as Cestrum elegans var. smithii. So yes it should come true from seed!

But I'm still not sure that it deserves its place in the propagator!

All brought in now, I'll repot them all out of the Crûg compost as soon as I can.

There seems to be an unwritten gentlefolks agreement not to sell propagules of plants bought from people who will be selling there themselves, so since Crûg will [hopefully] be there on the day I won't sell 'their' plants.

What was in your less exciting box?

Has anyone grown Tagetes zypaquirensis? Apart from the Crûg site, the only information I can find suggests it is an annual!
