Strange you should talk about moving, as the missus has determined she won't be able to manage stairs in later life, a bungalow life looks on the horizon. However, as the wife is close to her mum and her sister finding somewhere close to where we are now with my ideal garden soil and her stairless vision, not the easiest combination!
Maybe in a few years as we close in on retirement age. Until then I'll just look at your (yellow free)pictures ;)

We have a very large tree at the bottpm of the garden. Part of it is dead and rotting but it has a preservation order on it so it has to stay despite it being quite ugly. However, it has become more interesting of late as new neighbours have moved in New neighbours by Andy Cowlishaw, on Flickr

Lovely to see your woodpeckers, we have a dead pitto which had a visit from a spotted woodpecker but sadly we will have to cut it back before it falls over.

Not seen the white form of G madeirense

The only yellow Rhodo I have had anything to do with is 'Saffron Queen' it was a long time ago an expensive way of discovering we cant grow them!

I bought the G. madarense From Treseders at last years Tregrehan plant fair. Don't suppose we will have the opportunity to spend our pocket money at the fair this year :cry:

At the moment its postponed until September rather than cancelled but who knows. Personally cant see an easy way out and back as before
