Your Mangave look pristine. I have succeeded in killing every single one of the many different varieties I have tried. The ones that scraped through winter in the cold frame were reduced to a couple of leaves, and they were soon polished off by slugs and snails.

Which of your Agaves are you able to leave in the ground permanently?
This is their first year out over winter, but so far, things are looking quite good.
So far I've got montana, ovatifolia, gentryi 'Jaws', parrasana (possibly 'Meat Claw') and another whose name completely escapes me at the moment.
