Its now many months later, all the plants went backwards for the first 4 months, both leaves and stems dying back, then to great relief there were signs of life returning
Of the 28 plants we returned with (which divided into 36 at this end) we have lost 3 and there are a further 2 not yet showing signs of life but fortuitously they are all duplicates so we have lost none of the different sorts one or two are even going to have the odd flower!
Only problem so far has been excess heat during the summer (now a distant memory) so I rigged a solar panel connected to a 12v fan which did a reasonable job of bring the temperature down, plan is to get bigger/more panels for next year once I can find somewhere to stick them up out of sight
Glad they are settling in, it must have been a patience trying time whilst they were settling in and rather going backwards!
Good news though that you have not lost any of the different selections which must feel good.
That picture of the flowering bi-coloured form is rather lovely. Lapageria are indeed super plants and it is nice to see one of the different flower colours, though all of them are beautiful!
