But I have always wanted more :) but money time and space have usually conspired against me, but over a long time I have squeezed more in, my first was a cheap 8x6' aluminium job, when it arrived I couldn't even stand upright in it so the centre path has been dug out, you will have to excuse the mess, I have been busy building a yet another new greenhouse :oops:

My second greenhouse was a Halls 8x14, apart from having to rearrange the hen defences so I could get in but they couldn't it was straight forward.

The third was straight forward as well but was quickly followed by a forth which was attached to it to make a 8x28'

By now I was struggling to find a space but came up with a cunning plan and number 5 went on top of the coal shed

It was very easy to do, stripped off the roof, made it level around and put concrete T beams across, which are then filled with concrete blocks to form a solid floor

You can fill these gaps under but we have bats in there so they are left open, from the next level up it all looks perfectly normal!

Now engaged in number 6, my most ambitious to date!
this one has been most of this winter on and off (weather hasn't helped) here is the evolving project, I had the front and back walls partly in place, the one on the left is a boundary wall I built a few years ago, the back wall is part of the fruit cage, just needed making higher. I had spotted that these two walls were nearly parallel, that "nearly" caused me a lot of trouble!

Roof arriving was an exciting advance, Double glazed glass so heavy!

Once fitted the roof has made it feel more like a greenhouse even though I still have to fit the doors each end

Then the bit I had been dreading, digging out the floor, to get the height I had to excavate down a foot at the front and 3 feet at the back, the dry weather came just in time

Just waiting on the brick pavers arriving today, did the wiring and water yesterday, once I get the floor laid I can measure up for the doors :cheers:
