Lilies are starting

Lilium regale is as normal my first of the year, I would love to grow more but trying to keep on top of the red lily Beatles puts me off

What height would you normally expect from L. regale. I am growing it for the first time, from a bulb. The flowers are just finishing, but it only managed about 12" of height. presumably it will be taller once established. My oriental lillies have got taller year on year.

the pot grown ones are normally about 18" to 3' but after a year in pots I normally plant the old bulbs and start new ones in the pots, when in the ground their size again varies but depth of planting seems to have a big effect and deep planted established clumps can reach 4' although as you can see they don't do upright :)
