Hello all, after a very stressful spring / summer outside of gardens, I’ve got a few things to post happily. In July I visited a garden center somewhere in NL, who always have something rare to offer. Unkown to everyone there, there was this variegated Musa. It was in a small pot and full of pups. And expensive. I bit the bullet and bought it. I potted it on and put it out in the shade where it has developed into a very multicoloured thing. In the pics below there are at least 5 colours to find: Red yellow white and greens. I’ve never seen anything like it and don’t suppose it’s easily identified, other than Musa sp. Some might see this as a sickly catastrophe. I’m curious. It’ll go in the greenhouse over the winter.
Any ideas as to it’s heritage, I would be interested to hear it!
