I inherited this rhodo so I think it is at least 10 years old. At about 1.5M tall and 2M wide it is about as big as it is going to get.
The closest I can get is Rhododendron burmanicum, any thoughts?

Very hesitantly, and open to ridicule since I don't know this genus...
R.Saffron Queen?
Saffron Queen is barely scented, R.burmanicum should be richly so.

The flowers have almost no scent that I can discern so 'Safron Queen' is a good shout Chad, thanks.
Whatever it is, it would seem to have some R. burmanicum in its parentage.
