Hi everyone, after a very quiet 10 years or so that I have been left running things I have suddenly started to get several attempts to register users, the names and email addresses provided dont to me "look right"

on checking some of the more believable ones that have been OK'd by me in the past but have never then become active

so I am afraid I have deleted all these inactive accounts (ie people who have never signed back in after registration)

I am struggling to see why anyone would want to go to the trouble but if any of you notice something odd or not right please let me know

It is the same on the EPS Charlie. We built up thousands of registrations that only ever logged in a few times, or were a bit iffy. There were also loads of spammers that we do not seem to have these days. I am going back as far as 20 years ago. In those days we had 30 or 40 sign ups a month. (Down to trickle these days, they all go to EPS Facebook.) I used to delete them by the bucket load to clear up our data base.
