With a brief respite from rain I have been out with the camera.

We haven't had a frost here yet, and autumn and spring are combined;

In the unheated poly tunnel things just keep growing;

Nice, the Senecio is looking particularly good, its a shame they get battered to bits here, keeping it out of the wind it looks fab

The Lycianthes looks good in the tunnel but what is the "big yellow daisy" plant? Not sure if I like it but it certainly has presence!

The Telanthophora grandifolia [AKA Senecio ghiesbreghtii until Senecio was revised to destruction!] is robust. I cut it to the ground in the tunnel once there is a pause in flowering. It would like to be 20ft tall.

Outside I lost it, but they usually go herbaceous outside and have been OK through most winters not only in Cornwall, but also in Essex. It pays to have a cutting up your sleeve, and I usually do.

I feel happier knowing that it is a Kniphofia and not L.aloides! A rather nice Kniphofia though.
