Flowering and growing today

I have been surprised by the adaptability of plants from the warm, moist climate of West Cork to the hot,dry, windy climate of Tarragona.
These plants grew quite happily in West Cork (albeit much faster)
Callistemon pallidus

Corymbia ficifolia

Metrisideros robusta

Roses do well here (much to my surprise)





As do Pelargoniums




The garden is slowly growing. 2014-0510

Love the roses, there are some amazing varieties on display on Madeira at the rose gardens, I was surprised at so many we dont see here because I hadn't realised there were a lot we couldn't grow!

You space is certainly greening over now, will help keep the ground cooler in years to come.
