Dystaenia takesimana

Post by JohnH »

Does anyone grow the Korean celery, Dystaenia takesimana or, more to the point, has anyone tried to move one?
Although it hasn't flowered yet, it has grown very large very quickly and, of course, I have planted it in the wrong place.

Although seeds appear to be readily available, https://www.growildnursery.co.uk/store/ ... elery.html
it would be a shame to loose a decent sized clump.

I had some spare time this afternoon, and moving it was quite possibly the easiest job in the garden.
For some reason I imagined it would have an impossible tap root, but it was widespreading and shallow rooted.
I just have to work out why nobody else grows it. :?
