Chad, the way you are talking you are willing it to die! It’s still going, looking strong and growing fast so be optimistic … and well done!

Been meaning to take their picture for ages as they have been particularly good this year, although I notice the original mix of colours has now reverted to the wild purple.

I like Chaenomeles (or Japonica as my mother calls them!) I have lost the two big ones in the courtyard to the wall improvement works but still have a few others dotted around!

This Trachelospermum is a useful self clinger for a dark wall, doesn't normally flower much but brightens things up

I've also had a good display of Fritillaria melagris, in fact all the spring flowers under the trees have done well this year.

The Aralia vietnamensis wilted in Friday's sun, but has recovered.







If the second leaf expands like the first one it won't fit in the box, and the nights are still too cool to move it out to the tunnel.

No roots visible coming out of the pot yet.

I do love the small Fritillaria family, I've always had the purple and a few white.

I love the tea rose. Roses don't like the humididty in the tunnel, or they could become an interest.

Thats correct - should have looked it up!

I love Chad’s gentlemanly methods of pointing out that we have made spelling mistakes!
