This years outing to Hodnet Hall

While John , Chad and others were enjoying the pleasures of Tregrehan I was once again at Hodnet Hall up north of Telford, lovely garden and surprising good planting although its a cold spot so not much risk taking. Anyway although I have posted pictures before there always seems something new to point the camera at!

Anyone know what this is? it looks like a Horse Chestnut relative but was newly planted and without a name (edit Chad has given this a name Aesculus pavia - see below)
