Colour in Catalonia

Acacia dealbata (I think) cannot take any credit for this as it was in the garden when we bought the house. Never flowered like this in West Cork!

Must be exciting to see it all starting , I am presently on Tenerife and spring here is at full blast, yet everyone is complaining they have had a cold winter!

As charlie said, must be great going into your first full growing season. Speed of movement from winter to summer seems to me to be by far the biggest different in a lot of Europe's climate compared to UK. It is very mild here this week, maybe even get to 15C this weekend, but there is always the chance that the cold will come back and we will get another to months of winter.
