Yet more succulents

We have been planning some building work on the new house, as the builders will no doubt trash the garden it has been on hold apart from clearing the beds.

Here it was when we first moved in

The wall in the middle confused us, but the bricks make good pot stands

This summer could not have been better for the succulents

I wasn't sure these pots form Akamaba would survive, bought them more as a joke than anything else, but they are still going and haven't been damaged at all by the cold winters.

The idea is that the builders can trash the garden near the house without me having to worry about them damaging the plants which will all be packed up in the other half of the garden. Come spring next year we would be able to start on the garden.

That's a lot of succulents!

What's is the plant in bloom on the left of the second photo?

Sadly that is only about a third of the total number, bit that is the main group that will be planted out (minus one or two aloes).

The flowering plant is an alium, the photo was taken in July just as it was just finishing.
