Dierama pulcherrimum is a terrible weed here and I have to pull masses of it up ever year but I can't deny it looks lovely

Anyone growing any of the named forms? and if so how do you stop it seeding down and diluting the clump?

Easy here - it refuses to flower for me!

Used to grow well at my old house so it's just a matter of time and finding the right spot, but very frustrating. :(

I gave a clump to my dear Mum two years ago, it flowers in the most regal of ways over the pond. Mine!! Never even sent up a flower shoot

I've moved it twice!

Sometimes with this its easier to just chuck a load of seed around and let it decide where it wants to be.

Always been a mystery why this grows so well while I can't grow Watsonia
