Agapanthus Sea Breeze
I have a decent collection of Agapanthus and remember this variety making an appearance a couple of years ago. I regretted not buying it then and so I've just had a look now and it appears not to be available anywhere in the UK at the moment. Does anybody know what happened to it? It was/is a lovely bi-colour so imagine it would be a great seller. Does anyone have it and better still able to swap a bit for something I might have?

'New' Agapanthus have a very small chance of staying on 'lists'. Only those that sell well and behave in propagation stay the course. 'BREAG2' which was sold in the UK as Sea Breeze is still available in Italy.
The pattern of its 'bicolour' is the other way round from the 'Twister' and 'Queen Mother' flowers. Is 'Phantom' similar?

Re: Agapanthus Sea Breeze
Thanks once again for your response Chad. I'm certain it would have been a big seller. Agapanthus are really popular at the moment as you know (and pricey!) and this is a lovely gentle two tone. I do in fact have Phantom which is also lovely, purchased a few years ago from Trevena Cross (incidentally they were at that time selling big flowering plants at very keen prices), it ended up shaded out and buried beneath other plants so I dug it up and potted it last year. I'm expecting it to take a couple of years to settle down and flower again.

Fairweather's hold a national collection of Agapanthus. They only list 50 a year for normal retail sale, but may have a, probably more expensive, system for distributing others from the collection.
Try contacting them and ask. You have nothing to lose.
