Schizophragma coryfolium (from Pan Global) 8 years ago with no idea what it may do!

This is its first year to flower, tis a beast of a plant

The rose is sitting on the top of it but not surprisingly its flowering in the sun. (by the way Karl if you read this the Rose is Treasure Trove)
