Dasylirion flowering

[Frank]

On my daily lunch time walk down the North Bank in London I pass a prestige office block by the Thames. Next to the path they went for a mass planting of Dasylirion, Phormium and Kniphofia plus various grasses. I spotted something sticking out above a little courtyard and found a Dasylirion flowering, maybe serratifolium, I can never tell them apart. First one I've seen and quite impressive. Shame most is wasted on the general public, the couple on the bench out of shot were looking at me like I was a perv. Maybe they have a point ;)
